Having been utterly disbelieved by the owner, the Jeep went into the local Chrysler dealership today for a look over.
They found no fault.
Now, given that until very recently, the servo was quiet, and now it's suddenly a hell of alot louder, and given that you can actually hear the air being sucked through it with your head in the footwell, is this right?
I would say no, as the sudden increase in volume during operation would be a cause for concern and show something isn't as it was, and couple that with the fact that no air should be sucked into the engine without going through the throttle body first - Let alone through the bloody servo!
I quite frankly couldn't give a damn, so long as I *never* see that lumbering thing in my rear view mirror, but I'd love to know whether I'm right or not on this one?
