hi got a p reg diesel tranny been great but recently its been a pain if its left for a couple of days the fuel runs back and it will only start if its bled which it does with ease then will run fine all day. i have fitted a new filter and lift punp and renewed the hose fron the tank to the lift pump which is the only one that could suck in air all the other hoses look fine and are all tight and no leaks if anyone has any ideas please let me know thanks john kirk

this problem on cavalier diesel is caused by porous injector spill pipes, so renew them if they are not as good as new

They can suck in air anywhere before the pump when they're not running.
Ideas? Punctuation might help...
For the van- check the leakoff pipes on the injectors. They often go porous.
