hi is there anyone who can help? i just bought a vw golf mk4 and th



interior light switch is broken does anyone know how to get it ou without damaging it

I think it is wedged in quite tightly is you mean the centre light. You use a flat blade screwdrvier to gently pop it out.

The interior light is activated by micro-switches INSIDE the door. You need to strip down the door and buy a new locking module. This is one of the "common" faults on mk4 Golf's (along with MANY MANY more). Or, if you are lucky it could just be a fuse. If the interior light still works when you turn it on but does not when you open the doors it is definately the locking module. These cost about £80 each to buy. You need to strip the door, removing the glass to replace the LM.
