OK OK I didn't check very well. useful for my Peugeot though...

Back to brakes - I've stripped the LH rear drum - nothing untoward there, cleaned dust out etc. I've also bled all but the front RH (not enough time yet )

Also the spring for theear brake balancer was broke - I have fixed that so i think I now have more power diverted to the rear brakes - anyway they feel more powerful although still lacking feel.

The rear pads were down to 3mm - plenty of mileage left but perhaps not as effective as a new set? Anyone know of a good (and modestly priced) brake shoes that are more powerful (grippy) than the standard Peugeot or cheapo aftermarket pads?

Ah yes - also the chrome / finish on the pistons in the LH rear drum has started coming off (it's about half off) seals looked in good condition and the pistons slid in and out easily - is that likely to make a big difference?
