It's time I got the Miata ready for spring. I'm starting early because I have a short list of things to get done to make it road-worthy once again, and I need RAMMM's advice on several of these issues:
1) Order new McGard wheel lock key. I lost my key and have no braking hardware on the right rear wheel. I'll be ordering one any day now.
2) Order new set of Toyo T1-Ss. I still think they suck in wet weather, but I rarely drive the car in anything resembling that, so I'll stick with them. If someone can come up with something better, I'm all ears. I don't need all-season anythings or wet-weather-specifics or anything but a cheap tire with excellent dry handling in the summer. So far, the T1-S is about the only one that fits the bill.
3) I need new shocks. I want adjustables and was thinking about the KYB AGXs. Are these as good as the Tokico adjustables? Anyone know of a good reason I shouldn't purchase them?
Thanks in advance!
