hi, swmbo was driving, car went bang and stalled. i could not see anything wrong, wires ok, sc air duct on, cam moved when the motor was cranked, timing belt ~ 6k miles ago, tune-up 10k ago... any ideas?

Do you have any compression at all?
yes. it ended up being a couple of freyed wires going to/from the ignition control mod for the s.c. thanks, peter
