Usually, they leak or make noise.

That green puddle in the floor of the garage after the car has cooled off......

Leaks and/or squeaks.

The green tends to end up on the front of the engine, the inside of the hood, the belts (which distribute it elsewhere) and hoses, and on the splash shield beneath the engine compartment.
