hello, wonder if you could help me, i have an 2005 3s 2.3 i installed an aem cold air intake, now at certain rpms my car makes a kind of fluttering noise, someone told me it was the vvt (variable valve timing) any suggestions? car runs fine i've had the intake on for several thousand miles no "service engine soon" lights and yes, i dis-connected the battery prior to install......thanx!

Could just be the intake is louder than before.
The intake vacuum will "pulse" kinda like the exhause does at your tailpipe.
Don't think its anything to worry about.
