Hi,
My question is simple, should I be able to take my '01 SLK320 through a touchless car wash without getting sprayed in the face?
I know that the car has frameless windows and that high pressure water will get through. The dealer tells me that they are designed this way??? and that there is nothing they can do. I don't like using the car wash but I am living temporary in an apartment and can not wash by hand.
Has anybody had similar experiences, or comments.

check back a few weeks in alt.auto.mercedes (not alt.auto*s*.mercedes, where I found your post) I saw a couple of people report that they had car wash leaks since their cars were new. I have a 2001 SLK which I have had in a car wash once - I didn't ride it through, but I noticed no significant intrusion of water when it came out.

nope my clk does the same. you can get it adjusted if you know some one good...
I use a shammy upagenst the glass so it wont get into the inside.
