Hi, I'm contemplating replacing the m130 engine in the old girl with an m116 3.5 v8. Anybody have any experience with the swap or is it reasonably straight forward? (Donor car is a '72 280se 3.5.) Any feedback would help.

The frame rails are too close togther. You must take a total of a quarter inch off the exhaust manifild on each side.
