1987 260E brake fluid change

Three ways to do it...

1. Use the brake bleeder system... looks like a small garden sprayer () and follow instruction.

1. Use vacuum bleeder like Mity Vac... simply open up the valve and suck it out... make sure your reservoir cap is off and always full of fluid.

2. Manual... takes two people to do it...car always off... Have one person pump pedal 4 times and hold... then one person crack open the valve until the inside person foot is down to bottom... inside person must not release the pedal until the valve is tightened. Also, inside person never smash the pedal all the way... when it gently stop, that is it... do not go further or you might have to change the brake master cylinder.

The reservoir car must be tight and always full of fluid... you will have to refill it often... keep your eye on it... never let reservoir go empty.
