The ABS warning light comes on when I make a left turn and the car is cold. After being driven for some time and the car is warmer, on restarting, the light goes out and remains out. The problem seems to be a bad connection. Any ideas?

Clean all the contacts and sensors. You will be amazed what dirt can do.
