As most everybody has probably heard by now, Dubai just picked up 2.2% of DaimlerChrysler for a mere 1 Billion Dollars.

It is conjectured that Dubai will get a DC industrial presence as a reward for its investment.I would guess that the DC union in Germany should make a similar investment if it would like to influence the industrial policy of Mercedes.
