Hi everyone,

Is the MB Kompressor engine a Miller-cycle engine or it just a simple Super charged engine?

Its an otto cycle engine with a roots type supercharger.

The supercharger is called a Lysholm type which is similar to Eaton Roots but more efficient. Here's a link to explain.

These are the specs from E55 AMG: Intake system Helical high-pressure supercharger with liquid-to-air intercooler and electromechanical clutch. 11.6 psi maximum boost.

Its a very, very good engine too in its latest incarnation. It is the most refined I have ever encountered.

It's an otto cycle engine. Do any manufacturers mass produce a miller cycle engine??

Mazda apparently:
