Hi,
I'm looking to buy a 2001-2003 ML320/350 "certified pre-owned" from a dealer in the $20K range. If what's going to go wrong hasn't, are these OK to buy? Any experiences with the CPO program? What to watch out for in this range of MLs?

The model year range ('01 - '03) may be too old for CPO program. Visit MBUSA and read about CPO qualifications.
CPO is not the same as the more inclusive new car warranty so be sure YOU understand what is and isn't covered under the CPO warranty.
As to the ML - well, it's not one of the better M-B models. The mid size sedans are far better, IMHO.
