Anyone out here ever tear apart a rear view mirror on a S500? You know, the mirror with all the sensors and stuff.
Everything works, but it is real loose, like one of the tension springs inside has fallen off or broken off. The dealer said the springs are attached to the body of the mirror with little plastic clips that break. They wanted over $500 to replace it!
Any help would be appreciated.

Vell vhat do you vait for???? PAY UP und fix der mirror!!!! You dont vant der image of der little flashing red lights in der mirror to vibrate!!!! Und you haf a bargain der vit dat dealer! Ole Hanz und Franz mit Heavy Karl's shop vanted $600 3 years ago to fix der mirror in my kar!
