Buying a new MGTF

Hiya,

I'm just sleeping tonight on a decision to buy a new MGTF. Never had an MG before and I'm going for the 135 Sunstorm for just under £15,700.

I wondered if anyone had any last minute comments to influence my decision? Thanks,

Only that you should do it. I have been running a new BRG 160 for two weeks and love it to bits. Couple of things are a bit loose on the interior and need snagging, but apart from that it's great. And in all those two weeks, I think I have driven it only twice with the hood up!

I will say this ... I did get a Jan '04 MF TF 160 that had done only

1,000 miles as a demonstrator (actually driven by the dealership owner's daughter for 3 months) for more than £1,000 LESS than you are paying for that 135. The dealer in Bury in manchester has just preregistered a load of brand new 135s too, and you can get them for a song. I'd say you can get a better deal than the figure you are quoting.

Nige.

Nice cars, love them to bits. Have had an MGTF from new now for the past 12 months. Will be buying another for sure in about 12 months time.

Well I bought a second hand MGF (99 V reg) in January and it is brilliant to drive. I have had hours of driving pleasure with it. Budget constraints stopped me from buying a new TF which is supposedly even better so you should have even more fun than me

You could try an MX5 - Its the blokes car as opposed to the chaps motor (surely MG fans would agree hairdressers drive smaller 4x4s)

The larger 4x4s are driven by drug dealers/pimps/bad footie wife female drivers
