V-6 Engine/Transmission exchange for 1973 MGB

I'm look to see if anyone has come across a V-6 engine and transmission exchange. If so what make/model was it from and could you provide pictures and/or a web site with additional details.

Unless you find some aluminum V-6, it will make your MGB terribly front heavy.

I'm guessing by your return address that you are here in the states. There is plenty of information available for fitting the Buick/Olds/Pontiac 215 cid aluminum V8 and Muncie 4 speed as used in the Buick Special, Olds Cutlass (?) and Pontiac Tempest in the early 60's.

The package weighs less than the MG, has twice the stock HP.

And, since this engine was sold to Rover by GM, and was eventually fitted to the MGB-GT V8, is more authentic.

There's a forum there on MGB V8 and V8 conversions.

Today I was offered a 3.5 V6 Ferrari engine for £400. Its an alloy engine and has its exhaust headers too.

Stall I do it, to a 78 Roadster ?
