Will 10*165 tyres fit on a standard 1983 mini without flaring the arches please?

Yes I should say so as your not fitting wheel spacers or anything else are you? As it happens i've seen Mini's on 12" alloy wheels clad with
165*70 tyres and they've removed the wheel spats and retro fitted the silver/chrome side trim instead!Taffy
