I have a lancer 02 oz rally edition about 85,000 mile, and I put in one of those cheap short intake system on Ebay. I took it for a test drive and notice that my car was hesitating. The engine check light came on. I return to my driveway and pop open the hood and the engine was shaking. So i took a look at my RPM and it was between 620 to 720 rpm and keep dying, so i turn off my car, and reinstall the stock intake system. I disconnect the ground cable from the battery and step on the brake to cancel the check light. Turn on the ignition. The rpm still stay same around 620 tp
720 rpm. but when i disconnect the plug to the air flow sensor the engine stop shaking but jump to about 1200 rpm and it was able to driven. So I replace the air flow sensor, and nothing change. I check every wires I could find. I replace the spark plugs and spark cable, and nothing. I'm out of idea.
