90 MONTERO BAD COMPUTER OR BAD DISTRIBUTOR ??

No spark, one morning it just wouldn't start. What is it most likely to be? How do you test the computer and crank angle sensor in distributor ? Has 3.0 Mitsubushi V-6. Thanks.

First check if the ECU is actually running, on the test port. There will be no error code pulses or possibly an eror code. Simplest is that the Check Engine light should turn on and then off off about 4 seconds later.

Could just be the distributor, Could also be fuel (or lack of it) .

Not what you asked for, but my 1990 Montero had that problem once and it was one of the wire connector plugs near the coil. Try unplugging them and then replug them. Just a thought of something to try. When you solve the problem, please post back with the solution. Thanks.
