Clutch Reservoir empty

Hi-

1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T

Very non-mechanic guy here. When I got in my car tonight after work the clutch was very close to the floor. By the time I got home it was almost at the normal spot. Checked the reservoir, and it was empty.

Does anyone know if that uses .3 or .4 brake fluid? Any ideas what I'm looking at?

Any help would be appreciated

you'll have to lay on your back with your head stuffed under the dash to see the shaft of the clutch master cylinder. if it is leaking it will be apparent. the only other area where a leak could occur is the slave cylinder. the slave cylinder is attached to the bell housing of the transmission. it's pretty easy to figure out what it is. again, if it is leaking there will be evidence.
