Ecu & Tcl Fault Codes, 1995 Mitsi Diamante 6g72 DOHC MIVEC

We currently have a 95 Diamante in the workshop at the moment. has an intermittant cut out problem - seems mostly on corners at slow speed. direct cut - like fuel or ignition. the fault codes appear when bridging pin #1 (fault code mode trigger) and #4 (earth) - ECU lamp shows fault code - 32 - TCL lamp shows fault code - 75. 32 = MAP sensor. 75 I have no idea, havent been able find information on this anywhere. Is anyone able to help with this - is it a common problem, what does fault code 75 mean?!?

I have checked all voltages, powersupplies and earths on the map sensor. it appears to work fine. 1.3V at idle within spec. but I dont have an ECU pin diagram so I cant work out which pin it is to see if the working Map sensor is getting its signal to the ECU itself. Anyw help would be much appreciated, thanks

Derek

It has been my experience that a map sensor won't make any whole system shut down. If you are registering codes in the computer, chances are good you have a bad connection somewhere if everything else appears okay. At idle, go around the engine compartment wiggling connectors to see if you find a change. Also, look for bare wires on or near the fuel pump. Stranger things have happened.
