greetings people, sorry if this sounds vague but only had a quick look at the car. its a v6 fto based in th uk,i think it is a 1996 model but does have the mivdec? engine---i will not be able to aquire more info untill i go back over on saturday. two basic problems----lack of first gear (manual trans)--i see it is cable operated from the shifter(appears to be two) are these adjustable?--would or could the cable be the problem? looks like the throttle potentiometer has been messed with-it is set on max down-what is the correct voltages etc and across which wires?
i know its vague but i usually work on cosworth rally cars --so i am capable of the work involved
usefull sites and comments or downloads for pdf manuals will be greatfully appreciated
