gearshift problem when engine is cold

Apr 26, 2004 0 Replies

Lately I've experienced a gearshift problem in my Colt Bullet '95 - which has run about 125.000km. After driving about 25 minutes the problem disappears but returns as the engine cools of and the gearoil thickens again. I've changed the gearoil with no result and there seems to be no problem with the hydraulic clutch.

It doesn't "brush teeth" when cold but especially 2nd and 3rd gear can be tricky with a clonk and a little kick in the gearstick...

Any help is most apreciated - thanks in advance
