I came to open my tailgate last evening and the lock would not disengage. Although the key appeared to turn normally, there was no pressure on the handle to open it. I also tried from the inside, but although there is a release handle, there is nothing to unlock the door. I get the same result whether I try the central locking (all other doors work) or the key in the tailgate istelf.
I mentioned this to a fiend who said he had the same problem (intermittently) and had even resorted to having the door smashed open.
Can anyone help please?
