I am trying to program a keyless entry remote for a 2001 eclipse spyder. I have the instructions. The first step is to jump terminal 1 and ground on the Data Link Connector. Do I need a special tool for this, or can I just run a wire from one to the other? I don't want to mess anything else up in the car.
