Anyone notice the little "whine" the 98 gs model whimers while the gas pedal is pushed down.. I'll be tooling along at 65 or so, let off the gas and it stops... Hit the gas and its back.. Weird? Why?

Weird, yes because N/V/H engineers do a pretty good job of ridding cars of noises such as that. Something is probably loose and sucking air.
Is it coming from the back seat area? That is where the fuel pump is on your Neon-bishi.
remove the air filter and see if it goes away, if so I have some suggestions. TG
It is definatley the engine area where the noise is.. I'll try the air filter...
