What is it about some people they think they can take a dull car slap a few vents, a body kit and some stickers on it and charge a fortune, just because they are called Lotus.
Still if anyone has twenty grand to spare and wants number 29

Have you ever been in one of those cars?
They *did* also manage to put a slightly different engine in, too ;)
HFM!?!?!?!
From the limited pricing info I've seen on t'internet
Hey ho.
I'll have one when they get to be under a grand. (c;

Six months warranty? I'd want 40k to offer a warranty on one ;)

I thought that. I can't imagine Warranty Holdings being very happy about that.
That's over priced. I've seen em around for £10-£12K in the past couple of years.
Nope, 240. D'oh.

Only slightly. They think that just because they lengthened the stroke of the engine, uprated a couple of bits here and there, and bolted on a couple of turbochargers, they've got something special. Pah.

Enjoy the wait.

That 's the kind of car then that gives you a bill of about 10-12 kUKP within one month after purchase and a second bill of that size a month later, time by which the car is hastily sold again.
Warranty? Sound of running feet...
I checked a Lotus Omega out of few years ago: after the inspection of about one hour (without driving the car) I came up with a figure and took that off the asking price (about 25 kUKP). The car had negatif value and guess what: the owner knew it.
That day the word "pigeon" was not on my forehead.
It still stays a great car though but then again: take a BMW M5 and get a compressor on it. Anything with 400 HP at the wheels drives nicely and if it is BMW chances are that bits won't fall off nor rust to swiftly away.
