Anyone care to speculate where these came from?
I doubt they'd get smoke damaged underwater. I assume an Alfa dealer had a fire two years ago and the insurance's finally paid up. I guess getting the smell out would be the problem.

Thing is, there's lots of other questionable cars there, too.
If it is genuine smoke damage and you can get a proper, decent 3rd party warranty, then they're bargains.
But I suspect they're being a little economical with the truth.
got a gadget at work that would get that smell out, de-orderiser thingy costs like £500 for the machine though! works on all the s***ty smells with had on a few cars so far, even makes builders vans smell good :)
Wasn't it Saabs, Beemers and Volvos on that ship?
Remember a year or so back, there was an auction for a job lot of smoke damaged Alfas? Up for a lotta cash - an imperial fuckload of em.
Yeah I remember that. They wanted £2million or something didn't they?
Yea summet like that.
