Anyone good at photoshopping?

Feb 05, 2007 20 Replies

I'm trying to picture how a set of wheels would look on my car, but it would be much easier with an actual picture to look at. So I need a photoshop guru to put them on there. Is anyone able to help me?

They'll be a beer waiting in Southampton for anyone that can do it :)

CHeers

which car? and southampton is a bit of a trek for a beer! will you pay the fuel for a 2.8 petrol BM? hehe

I'll put a few pence towards it, but there's no way I'll pay for the engine if (when?) it blows up on the way here :)

The car is my red BX.

I have a red BX! Its auto and buggered.

What wheels?

cheers, clive

Cheap small standard steel ones with trims... Its the GFs.

Mine's a manual and is buggered :)

Ok...

(same as mine...)

What I actually meant was what wheels does Carl want to put on?

cheers, clive

And these are the alloys:

The only problem being I cant decided whether they should be standard silver, grey with silver lip (309 Goodwood stylee), white or black. The current grey/silver standard 16v alloys look good IMHO, so I'm tempted to stay with the same colour scheme on the Pug alloys, but part of me is also saying try the other colours :). If anyone can at least Photoshop the wheels from the 205 onto my BX, I'd be very much appreciated.

Opinions valued too, and no Dan, 15" is the maximum I'm going ;)

but it's not exactly what anyone would call professional. I've got to admit though, as much as I think cosmetic mods are a waste of time, I think that this particular car & wheel combo is OK really.

Throws the camber angle out a bit tho :-)

Err, yes it's true! I tried to wangle it a bit better than that, but I didn't really have much time to spare. Either that, or I blame my astigmatism...

;-)

Hmm, that does look good actually. Well I've got a guy coming round tonight to look at an old set of BX alloys I've got, and if he wants them there's a chance he might swap them for some of the Pugs ones, so might be able to see it in the flesh soon!

Thanks a lot BTW!

No worries. Just out of interest, why do you want to change them in the first place? As I said previously, I don't really go in for cosmetic mods (but it doesn't bother me that others do - I'm not fascistic about it or anything!). The only mods I'd be willing to make are to make my car look more anonymous!

Just fancied a change TBH and the Pug alloys are a cheap option. I'm not one for drawing attention to my cars (huge alloys, bodykit etc etc don't appeal to me), but in my eyes I reckon these alloys will look really good.

Yeah, I reckon they'll look pretty good too.

i'm not a fan of kits. but i do like a tidy up. think them wheels look nice better than the originals and not to blingy. cosmetic mods i tend to like are nice set of wheels and a drop on the suspension tend to make any car look nicer.

What you mean dropped like this?

:)

hmmm for a citroen that looks good! can you drive it like that? take it thats with the fancy air suspension? i noticed on the new C5's they can go real low but as soon as you get to 30mph it rises slightly. that would look sweet with silver rims mate!

now it needs 6 inches off of the hight of the roof.
