Wasn't he also getting all upset because people in IT wanted to have time off , just incase it interrupted his internet connection? Thinking about it , IT workers *were* in his permitted group of car users as it was in the public [1] interest for them to do so

Well he did try to tell us that all IT could be done remotely. If that were true, I would never have to leave home while working.

So if I buy that "half the size of Herfordshire" 7.2 litre Chrysler New Yorker, or a Cadillac Hearse for its carrying capacity, he wouldn't have a problem with it, even though the percentage of business use is sitting in Central Manchester traffic. Because if I don't sit in Central Manchester traffic, Teh Intertubes fail and world civilisation grinds to halt and we have to hunt chavs with our bows and arrows for food and entertainment (I practice with mine 3 times a week just in case, but then I know).

No you didn't driver "cars". You drove a 14 mpg Land Rover. Remember?

Translation: I can no longer afford to drive.

Translation: Now I can no longer afford to drive, I don't think anyone else should be allowed to do so either.
