ECU Mapping

Why can I only find people to re-map ECU for Citroën HDI and not for my Petrol 2.0 Turbo? have found a few but MAX @ 10 bhp when Superchips can add 30 bhp doing the same thing! but it costs £511 to £175 for re-map. I live in Bucks. Every body doing this Chip Re-Mapping game seem to be miles away, any body there give a more local contact? that can add 30+ re-mapping Beds, Berks, Bucks

I looked on the net. For a diesel it has quite a bit of lag and little torque at low revs compared to most diesels. Meaning it must be bigger turbo than the engine really needed, which is promising for upping the boost and getting a bit more top end power! Hopefully a good one to try and tune a bit.

Try VanAitken (sp?) in oxford. If they can't help, no one can.

Van Aaken I think is what you are looking for.

IIRC they used to specialise more in the diesel market.

I still think you're not reading the OP properly. He wants to fiddle with the brain of his 2.0 low pressure turbo petrol motor.

OOPS!

Oh. well thats easier! You can fiddle it yourself! Without any expense you can bleed off a little air from the wasegate actuator and the stock fuel pressure regulator will sort out the fueling up to a certain point.

Get an MBC (stands for manual boost controller - get the ball and spring type rather than a ropey old bleed valve) and a boost gauge and run Optimax. An air/fuel ratio meter is also recommended but all of this kit will cost less than =A3100 and you'll easily get more BHP.

All the above kit will come with instructions so I don't need to tell you any more.
