Rob, do what I did when looking for a Carlton diff (that in the end I never got around to fitting, thanks to the engine blowing up before I had a chance). Get yourself a copy of the Vauxhall EPC parts CD - obviously doesn't need to be anywhere near the latest version (for obvious reasons) - and find the part number for the correct ones (using chassis no is the surefire way if they're the original driveshafts on a car you've still got), then look through other models (cavalier etc.) and see if you can find the same part no. You might limit it to specific models with a range of chassis numbers, so you just need to phone around cars advertised for spares and ask them for a particular digit on the VIN plate. That's what I did and I managed to find a decent diff from a G reg 2 litre Carlton Estate to fit my K reg 2.3TD Estate.

You should be able to download the EPC CD off some dodgy FTP site somewhere. Good luck.
