I like the leather blazer.
Don't know what that says about me, though.
Don't worry, I have one, but in a slightly more modern 2 button cut.=20 When I was looking for a good retro one, I couldn't find a 3 or 4 button=20 reefer cut one secondhand in extra huge anywhere.
Then the 2 button showed up in a local hospice shop, like brand new, in=20 my size, for =A35

My dad had one - a little dog-eared and it used to fit me, but he wouldn't let me have it.
I tried it on with the view to keeping it when he passed away, but it no longer fits me.
Never watched it, is it any good ?
Yes.
Not really, it's awfully predictable, and at the end of the day, a BBC drama/comedy whatever they want to call it... It has some funny moments though, and lots of s**te old cars in it if thats your thing heh.
You're too young to 'get it'
HTH.
Think the only thing I watch on TV these days is Galactica.
Gutted :-)
Unfortunately you're about 5 weeks late - they repeated the first series on BBC4 as a lead up to the new one. And it's a bit easier if you get into it at the beginning...
cheers, clive
Think of a Sweeney era central police station in Manchester with a modern Copper all rules regs and political correctness, in a Coma and waking up there, but getting hints that he isn't mad, he isn't dead, and maybe he isn't really back in the past, or is he.
The main cars are a gold Mk3 Cortina, and a blue triumph dolly with a black bonnet and scoop, although it is really cool to see things like Saab 93/4/5s, a GT6 and the orange and beige GM bus livery and very bad clothes and worse haircuts. Nice period touches like Double Diamond and the like too. No computers, paper note books and big wads of files and quotes like "I want those finger prints back from the met within 3 days", and page calendars and posters everywhere, with people smoking
*inside* offices.
Been good so far. Couple of dodgy episodes along the way but I've enjoyed it overall.
I was lovin' that GT6 last night...
Giving it loads on that last bit, and that straight 6 sounded awesome.
A lot of the northwest members of Retro-rides either loaned cars, or knew someone who did, for the street furniture stuff.
