You may be right. I ordered them in any case because its about the only ones I can actually get that are in stock and the correct size! mytyres.co.uk are useless. All the tyres I ever order from there are out of stock. They advertise the lowest prices for the stuff they dont have in to make them seem cheap! This place STOCKS everything they advertise or its not displayed so you cant order them. And they are cheaper for most tyres. My mate (works in a tyre fitting bay) has ONE 245 in stock. He brought it home with him (borrowed) so I can look. Its HUGE compared to most 245 tyres! The ruler shows that the tread is 9.75 inches and the tyre total width unfitted is 10.25 inches. And the bead measures 7.5 and will be opened up to 8.5 on the wheel! Hope they fit!
Im not racing and slides dont worry me anyway. So I will let you know how they go.
