MK3 Golf Mini review

1.6. Not especially quick or slow. Doesn't handle quite as nicely as the ZX did.

However, at a 12 years old, the interior is mint and exterior near mint, and there isn't a squeak or rattle to be found anywhere. Fooking impressive. It also has a nice amount of kit, being as it's a run out model (alloys, electric windows all round, central locking, leccy sunroof, decent seats etc.).

I had a mk3 GTi 16v a few years ago. I owned it for about 4 years, only thing I needed to replace (apart from maintenance items, tyres etc) was the central locking pump. It was a great car. I replaced it with a mk4 V6 4 motion and that cost me a fortune on parts. MK4's have some very common problems across all mk4 platforms.

"Slider" gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

I had three Mk3 Golfs back in the day - two 8v GTi, one VR6 - one GTi slightly
