new job :)

got myself a job today, went for a boring admin one and came back today offered a better job!

basically i'm working for toomey in the vauxhall dealership (the enemy i know) but i'm dealing with the ex rentals and part exhchanged cars. they sell only to traders on a sealed bid system. it's great as it's a bit of office stuff and gets me out and about as i have to view and accurately describe each car. the list had a nice new-ish celica on there as well as a meaty jag s type so looks like it could be a good job hehe.

start next week, finally some money for mods!

Fantastic. Of course you have to thoroughly "Test" each car for a truly accurate description.

Where is the nearest motorracing circuit? A season ticket could come in useful to get a proper description of the handling and performance.

Cool, a car job! When my company was making redundancies I applied for a similar job at a local BMW "stealership" (thanks for the phrase PeteM)

Then work shipped me off to Budapest to save me from the axe man and I won't know if BMW wrote to invite me to an interview till I get back in a couple of weeks...

Yeah, it's nice to go for one job and then be given a better one! Happened to me when I went to work for Currys (went for a warehouse job and got a sales job) when I was 16 but I actually preferred the job I'd originally applied for. Currys are a really shit employer though. Really shit. I mean terrible.

Aye, from everything I've heard from all of the 2 or 3 people I've ever known that have worked for DSG (Dixons Group), I'd never in a million years want to have a sales job there.

Hope they don't have any MR2s on the list or you'll write a million pages about them. ; )

LOL! to true!

i have my eye's on the red VX220 Turbo in the show room, also i like the look of the 350Z with the nismo kit next door. it's a massive site, it has vauxhall, SAAB, Pugeot, Renault, Nissan and toomey rental all on one site. hmmmm how much is the monaro? wonder if they'd get one in as a demo car :)

Try blag a go in a 206 GTi 180 - it makes a cool noise at 7,500rpm :) Also, you'd be surprised how fast it feels...
