Very long, loads of images, and an excellent read :)

I was rather surprised that it offered almost identical performance to the Gallardo !!!!

I read the subject as new MX5 review at first.

So this bit kind of confused me a little.

It's their best handling car for years, how exactly does that not class as a 'proper' Ferrari ?

You're telling me you'd prefer the outgoing M5 to the new one ?

Pete doesn't have the skills to drive things that have driver aids, or aren't rusty, or are FWD (not that the ferrari is obviously).

I'd have either... or an E34 M5, if anyone fancies donating one!

Um, the Golf's FWD, but I try to keep that quiet..

As for rusty, other than a few slight bubbles on the Merc, nothing I drive is rusty.

You're probably right about the driving skills bit though. The years of messing about with tarmac rally cars don't count.

Exactly, he'd rather have my vastly superior Mercedes 260E (with working suspension)

Actually... I've made a conscious decision today, to stick with the Rover.

Does everything I want of a car, and is nigh on immaculate. :-)

I'm very close to doing the same with the 260E. Very close indeed.

There might be a very nice Golf Cabrio up for grabs soon.
