Mine bloody did. Seemed to take forever - ended up being over 3 months from offer to exchange, which is quite a while to spend living out of the back of a 205 and scrounging space on mate's living room carpets for weekends...

Bah. Where's the fun in that?
Umm most are around 80-90% that's not "amazingly inefficient" by anyones standards. Some of the most efficient small generators around use an inverter to provide stable sinewave output.
They'll fit; I drove a Nova SR (many years ago...) which was on Cav wheels and tyres.

It's all down to the poor S/N ratio.
Finally got round to testing the wheels today. Front ones fit after removing the mudflaps, although the nearside one just touches the gearbox earth strap, but should be able to move that. The rear ones rub on the rear damper/inner arch though. Got a pair of 5mm spacers resevered at Halfords, so hopefully tomorrow they'll be on. 195/60/15 tyres - not exactly ideal, but they're free and 3 of them are almost brand new so can't complain!
