Yes, I'm not expert, but I get by. Most jobs that I give to my local mechanic to do are because I don't have the space, equipment or time to work safely on my cars at home.
I'm happy to say that my bike hasn't been near a dealer since I bought it nearly 5 years ago.

As it happens I'm planning a trip to CZ in August or September and I'll be driving back so Sunny Belgium could be squeezed into the itinerary.
I'll be in a fully loaded Barkas B1000 so any chance of a diversion is a bonus.
By fully loaded I don't mean electric windows and aircon, more "full to the brim with tools and stuff".
Bloody scousers, you'd think you'd manage to keep your fingers out of other people's belongings when you're abroad ffs :)
