eBay pulled the bloody auction:

'Good Day,

Regarding your eBay auctions, which TomTom have requested to be removed.

TomTom regularly reviews eBay auctions for software or data that infringes the intellectual property (IP) rights of TomTom.

We have a good-faith belief that your removed auctions offered software or data that was infringing our intellectual property rights.

If you wish to have any aspect of this clarified further please email snipped-for-privacy@tomtom.com. Please be sure to include your name, contact telephone number, and postal address. Please also include all your eBay userid's and the auction numbers whose removal you wish to query. Please also ensure that your communications are in English otherwise we may not be able to help you.

IF YOU DO NOT INCLUDE ALL THE ABOVE INFORMATION WE WILL NOT DISCUSS YOUR AUCTIONS REMOVAL OR ANY ASPECT OF OUR AUCTION REMOVAL POLICY.

Yours sincerely,

TomTom'

Anyway, I've listed it again with pictures of the original disks...

Abo gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

You might like to have a read through of the licence, see if it prohibits you from re-assigning the licence. Some do. If the TomTom one does, then you can't resell the software, even if it is original etc.

Yeah, I've had a look through the licence terms and it doesn't mention reselling; they don't allow hiring or lending though. They also restrict it's installation to one computer and one navigationn device, and I've mentioned in the listing that it has not been installed on my new device , so there should hopefully be no reason to disallow it this time.

It's listed again, lets see what reason they give for pulling it now.
