That was really good! Being that cold for days on end isn't fun though, they must have felt like the world was ending at times.

The best bit were the Huskies though - as amazing as the Toyotas were, those dogs were something else.

There is a flame war going on on Pistonheads about the North Pole, magnetic north pole and the 1996 magnetic north pole. The last is one they actually went to - it's the finish for an annual "North pole" ski race.

Shame they didn't show if Hammond got there, I hope he did, he had got so close. The moral victory goes to him. He didn't have a Fortnum & Mason's hamper with bottle of Chabis to cheer him up after a 10 hour slog with only 90min sleep to look forward too before another 10 hour slog.
