Has anyone out there had and work done by PSG in Derbyshire. My son took his escort for what was quoted a six week job on 7th November 2002 and he is still trying to get the car back. Alan who runs the place has an excuse every time he is contacted and seems totally unable to pick up a phone and return a call, or write a reply to any letter he is sent.

What on earth was he having done that would take 6 weeks? Please say he's had a giant engine shoehorned into it and a RWD conversion rather than several grands worth of fibreglass.

Thats not too bad, car needs lowering a bit more tho.
Just go round there and ask for it back, if they say no, get the police.

Turn up. Demand the car. If it is in pieces, demand that they put it back together.
If they can't get a recovery firm to tow it on a flat bad to your property, and agree in advance that they invoice PSG, not you. Ask to see the invoice before they lift the car to avoid you geting stung.
If need be, a private bailiff can reclaim the car for you, and put his fees against PSG, not you. A bailiff can also call the police for support if PSG refuse him access.
If the car has been dmaged, and it is below I think £1500 worth, you can have PSG summonsed to the local court for the money and also have the (minimal) cost included in the claim.
but first. Go to PSG, speak in person. See what is taking so long, and try and get it finished, or at least back amicabley. I that fails then nail him through the system.
