You don't want an XR2i then ....

was about to say that :)

dont do it m8 2i's are the biggest bucket of s**te you can get :)

trust me been there done that several time

does it have to be a hatch?

consider a nice big comfy 4 door saloon not a suggestion but an example Cavvy GSi same insurance costs as a 2i and faster top end and 0-60 more reliable less rattly more refined more comft damn its an all round better car but then again most things are

consider big saloons :) faster and comfier and normally cheaper to insure too :)

150k for a PSA TDI lump is barely run in!!!

Mike P waffled on in a quite bewildering manner to produce...

agreed!

150k? Pah. That's nothing for a diesel Pug.

My Mk2 Golf's on 242000 miles and counting, still no rattles from the engine or interior. Still goes very well an all.

Have you gone mad ?

I'd recommend pretty much anything over a Fiesta !

150K isn't high for a Pug Diesel lump. Although the rest of the car may be showing it's age :)

But it's only got 150bhp.

How old are you, and how much no-claims have you got ?

Pug's 3.0 V6 (200bhp early / 210bhp late)is an excellent engine - why not get another 406 with it in ?
