No, you're wrong.
There was also a completely unneccessary capital T at the beginning of "Terrible" as it's not the start of a sentence.
Usenet. Raising the standards.

I wondered where you were! Yeah i've got a mk2 golf gti now if you hadn't already read a cpl of my many threads relivant to it :D I was so close to getting a Nissan S13 200SX manual 1.8 Turbo as well!
I won't bore you with mod's and potential mods because i've listed them so many times now! I don't know how Vamp manages to keep banging on about his MR2 for so long lol j/k ;)
Indeed.
Mason
I'd have gone for the 200SX but the MK2 will server you well. Just don't ruin it. I Enjoyed my Mk2 and it was as near as makes no difference standard.
He still mentions it in every post then? :o) Not much changes.

Can't remember what I had when you last posted, so. The Saab 900 went. I still have the Celica GT4. I've started on a CarPC build again. I keep hankering after a Saab 9000 Aero/CSE/Carlsson/Anniversary as a car to get some fuel economy back, even though I love the GT4 and it has another years MOT on it.
How did you endless manifol/exhaust/pinking related issues go?
Buy a Carlsson or an aero, both stunning cars. I've yet to own a decent old SAAB, it's on my "to buy" list but I have a wedding next year to survive/pay for first.
The cost of the wedding would happily buy me a nearly new SAAB aero too :o(

It wasn't me with the Pinking it was Peter with the cinqi fiat in uk.rec.driving. There was some rattles that related to exhaust heatshields.
I sorted that, I binned them. Also the exhaust rotted at the flexi section, so it got replaced with Mongoose stainless. the manifold still has a broken stud that rasps/crackles until warm. I also have a 3" downpipe to be fitted when I can find someone silly enough to take on the job. I spent 8 hours on it one weekend, and got held up by 4 bolts you can't get to without dropping a cross member.
I'm not sure, he keeps using the phrase 'If i get a ban'. I'm not sure its really dawned on him how hard they take you from behind when you're young, in a sports car, doing 120mph, at 6pm in the evening.
It was the greatest buy ever, is the greatest car ever, has the best engine ever, and is basically the defination of car. Apparantly :)
I'm still there :-) Although, not right now, right now i'm at home. It'll be over soon. :-D
Yeah, they go much easier if they catch you at 6pm in the morning :-)
Peter
I'm a student, 6pm is late morning :)
It's a ban i'm afraid, and he won't insure an imported MR" again in a hurry.
Naturally. I wonder if the electrics have tired to kill him yet :o)
Good luck mate, chin up etc etc :o)

You could have brought mine when you had the chance ;o) Mine was a raider and a minter and someone got a bargain at £850. Bet his won't fetch that :o)
Plus for some reason he's removed some parts that are BETTER than the originals with the standard parts like pipes.
I dunno. Some mods are good!
Mason
Still having problems with the shift key, though.
I *really* need somewhere to park more cars. What mods did yours have? I want a standard one, because then i know what its got when i break it and i know what i need to fix it, instead of taking to my mechanic and him saying "You had this radiator, but the standard one looks like this....".
Naturally.
