See if you can find Jack Johnson's "Bush Fire Fairytales".

Bloody great album, bit like a mix of Accoustic Chilis and Crowded house without the tweeness. Has some great accoustic bass on it too.

Nah mate, most stuff by Slipknot.

Makes you feel expendable, and you don't care. Makes you feel that dieing in the process would be an honour, and a pleasure. Brings out the Animal/Suicide pilot in me when I'm driving listening to that. Do do it much, but it is great for decent back lanes. Specially if I can hear the turbo whistling up through the open sunroof too.

The 75 has a _very_ high quality stereo installation. Not loud, just awesome quality (top of the line (in 1990) Blaupunkt dolby cassette head unit, components in the front and rears are in acoustically (spelling?) sealed enclosures) - obviously set up with classical music in mind, and Classic FM does sound _awesome_ on it.

However, for the last couple of weeks I have been mostly listening to Reel Big Fish, Tenacious D and Smashmouth.

A bit of a mixed bag, really.

Obviously 'Walking on the Sun' and 'All Star' are their big hits on the same sort of musical theme - they also do a nice line in Hammond / Whirlitzer organ stuff, and some stuff if frankly pathetic.

I think I've got about 15-20 Smashmouth tracks, but only really listen to 5-6 of them.

You cheeky young scamp, you ;-)

Lol.

I need to stick my Sony CDX-MP30 in there, but haven't so far. For 2 reasons.... the standard unit is so bloody good, and.... it doesn't have an ISO connector in the dash...... and you know how hard it is to get to the wiring for a 75 head unit ;-)

Heh, Tenacious D rocks :)

By spooky coincidence, I've been playing them in the car on my way home from work tonite.

You can if the sentence also includes the words "Nakamichi" and "Dragon" or "CR7E" or, etc... ;-)

Maybe it never had the frequency width of CD, or even good vinyl, but until you've heard a big Nak, don't write off cassette tape altogether :-P

Hehe, "ROCK AAAAhhahhahahahhahahahaha Whoahoahoahoo" etc, etc :)

Think my top one is Wonderboy (with it's power to kill a Yak from 200 yards with mind bullets) :)
