It's a car that's advertised on their site - I exchanged a few emails with the current owner and he suggested I'll talk to them about the car as well as they supposedly know it quite well.
I'd do some of the work myself but for all the effort and money that the previous owner ploughed into the car there is no way I'd be letting any regular spanner monkeys lose on the car.
Probably right arround the point I would be looking then :(
They don't look too bad.
That engine is thirsty and I believe those things have some 'issues' as they age.
The engine or the car? My father in law's Omega went for 140k with no problems other than it needed a new ac compressor once. And an engine rebuild due to missing a belt change lol.
Can you run that engine on veg? Thirst would less of an issue then...
They're one of the few cars that has a lower 'reliability index' score than Alfa Romeos....

Yup, they did. Almost getting sensibly cheap too (estates are rarer though, and carry a bit of a premium - but you'd expect that). Autotrader.

Better than that - about 10mpg more, but that's not much of a saving with diesel being priced at a premium.
Mine's just an N-plate, 101k bog standard 1.9TD, not HDi. Estate, knackered sunroof, few marks here and there. Full s/h too. I was giong to stick it in Autotrader for £450. That was until I spent £70 on a new battery this afternoon...

I've got my eye out for a diesel estate, and I quite fancy a bit of bangernomics.
How old was yours? Mine is a 2003 and not bad at all for an auto.
