I want one. It's fun. Second car material, yes, but VERY good handling indeed. Typical they'd kill it off so I have to get a used one instead of waiting until the RX8 is done (not that I could replace the Rex with it).

As most of my mileage is local now, I wouldn't mind one. Still out of my price bracket even used though.
Do they still take about 10 seconds to change gear ?
I think there's a technique to making it smooth and relatively quick but the flappy paddle shift equipped Roadster I had a shot of about 2 years was especially strange in auto mode.
It could have been so much better. A clutch pedal and sequential shift would have been cool.
I loved the feeling of driving the thing, even on the short dealer test drive I had. However, the price, the gearbox, the lack of practicality and my inability to sit in any position inside it without having to force my knees against some part of the dash means that I will almost certainly never own one.
They're great. I love 'em.
No, successive versions have had snappier and snappier gear changes.
Still a bit rough though...
