Any decent management system will run MAP air metering, which won't care.
MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) and Air Metering tend to be two seperate methods of measuring fueling needs. Throttle position sensing is another. You can of course combine them in any of the valid permutations.
As it happens, Saab C900 models use TPS and AFM. As did the Celica ST185. The Celica ST205 used MAP instead AFM
TPS is used in conjunction with either AFM or MAP. Seeing as how MAP is the only sort of "air" detection system, air metering is the only real way to describe it. Disputing that is just being anal, really. Even Autodata agrees with me
